Meet Felice Boucher
I’m a passionate photographer with over 30 years of experience and the honor of receiving numerous national awards. Throughout my battle with cancer, I discovered solace and inspiration in capturing the beauty of flowers, especially during times when taking portraits of people wasn’t an option. This series of photographs reflects my resilience and deep love for my art.
After being diagnosed with stage four cancer a year ago, I closed my business and began creating a series of flower photography for myself. This project has provided me with focus, purpose, and the joy of artistic expression, especially since I can no longer venture out into the world to photograph as I once did. The flower photography series also allows me to support myself financially.
"I photograph each flower as if it is a person with a unique personality and look, which they do if you study them individually. I use the very same technique in my post production for the flora work as I do with my art portrait of a model, using layers of textures and colors to produce the finished product of an ‘Old World’ painting."
I have owned my business for over 20 years, creating studio photography, portraits, real estate, fine art, and wedding photography.
My work has reached clients across New England, and I have received numerous awards for my photographs, both in the USA and internationally. I have also been featured in many museum and gallery exhibitions.
For every flower photograph purchased, a 5x7 matted print will be donated to the New England Cancer Center for their patients.
